Recently I noticed
that the word Advent, with the three letters u-r-e added, means adventure.
German, Abenteuer. This is a very meaningful play on words. The
theme for 2018 was "Abentüür Gebät". Prayer then becomes an adventure,
when we let Jesus arrive in our hearts and encounter him.

Has prayer already become an adventure for you
Has prayer become an adventure for you or is it more of a chore? We cannot
this encounter with our Creator, but we can provoke it by being fully there.
being there.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer said: "No one possesses God in such a way that he no longer
would no longer have to wait for him completely.
