We like our tasks. Regina appreciates having found a regular working environment in the office of The Salvation Army Zurich North. She finds working with the two Salvation Army officers enriching.

Markus is delighted with the opportunities that are open to him through his employment at MEOS. Being able to study the Bible with asylum seekers and migrants is something that is close to his heart. He enthusiastically observes how former Muslims are gradually recognising more and more about God and his plan of salvation in Jesus. Recently, one participant marvelled at the fact that, unlike other prophets, Jesus did not have to ask his Father any questions because he was always well informed about God's will, connected by the Holy Spirit.

A woman in her 80s visits the Salvation Army church where Regina works. Guided by the Holy Spirit, this woman repeatedly meets asylum seekers. She wins their hearts with lots of gestures, practical acts of kindness and simple German. She often succeeds in connecting the asylum seekers prepared in this way with churches and believers.

Individual municipalities organise a visiting service in asylum centres. Depending on the political circumstances, they meet asylum seekers from different countries. They gather them in small groups, offer German courses and try to introduce them to Christ with suitable material. Sometimes Markus, because he knows their language, comes into contact with some of these already prepared people for a while and can read the Bible with them. He is then happy to pass them on to local believers and churches as his knowledge of German improves. In theory, this co-operation makes sense. Please pray that it will also work in practice for the glory of God.

With best regards and many thanks for accompanying us, Regina and Markus

["post-10582","seetal_chile_poscht","type-seetal_chile_poscht","status-publish","hentry
["GET
