The oppressive feeling of giving up something you have grown to love? Tears? Fear of the unknown? Or rather the anticipation and excitement of what is to come?

We have been living in Central Asia for several years now. During our time here, we've been able to get to know many great people and we've put down roots. It is super interesting to live in a different culture, to share God's love in different ways and to be part of society. One downside of our life, however, is that saying goodbye is an integral part of it. This is not always easy for all of us, but especially not for children. They get to know new people all the time, are happy about it, start to build relationships and ultimately have to say goodbye again, sometimes sooner, sometimes later. Especially now that the school year is coming to an end, we are preparing for Switzerland and our short-term student is flying back to Germany, there are always one or two tears. We endeavour to say goodbye and consciously say goodbye to people and places we have grown fond of so that we can wholeheartedly welcome new people and places. But the challenge remains and reminds us that, thank God, this world is not our final home.

Speaking of welcoming, we are looking forward to coming to Switzerland from the fifth of July until the end of August and hopefully seeing many of you. On the 17th of August we will have an event at seetal chile at 13:30 where we will talk about our work and our heart.

We look forward to seeing you!

Jonas, Judith, Ilai, Alya, Jemina and Delaja

If you would like to subscribe to the Burger family newsletter, please contact Stephan and Sabrina Sager on 079 784 49 06.

[103
post-10902","seetal_chile_poscht","type-seetal_chile_poscht","status-publish","hentry","seetal_chile_poscht_ausgabe-seetal-chile-poscht-07-08-2025-cd7f82b7-92d1-4c97-935c-cc8eea71dac8
["GET
