What a beehive our team was last year! It felt like we constantly had team members travelling to their home countries for a few months, coming back and new short-termers coming and going. As always, we find advantages and disadvantages in every situation and so we endeavoured to make the most of the advantages and deal well with the disadvantages in every constellation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We probably had the most drastic change after travelling back to Central Asia from our stay at home in the summer. We were able to spend another two wonderful months with our team leaders on site before they moved back to Switzerland for good. With this farewell, we became the new leaders of our team - it now consists of two families with 7 children and two short-term workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The change didn't come as a surprise to us, but it's special now. Until now, we always had someone above us, we always had the feeling that someone would be there if all else failed, someone who knew what to do. Now we can and must do it ourselves. A responsibility that clearly shows us our dependence on God. In reality, He is the one who is above us, who is there when all the ropes break and who knows what to do. We very much hope that we can be good leaders and focus on the essentials - that people come to know and love Jesus. As a team, we want to give our all for this and sharpen our vision anew.
