\"What can I do for you?\" This is how we greet customers on the phone in Customer Service. Customers call with a question about their electricity contract. Anger, sadness and insults are part of many calls. The customer call should be short and the customer's concern should be resolved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But dealing with customer concerns is not our heart's desire. We work here with people who urgently need God. \"Lord, what can we do for you?\" we ask ourselves. Just recently, our team leader, Tamara, told us that her son is very anxious and worries a lot about death. Sometimes he can no longer fall asleep. Tamara testified in a few words how our children Ilario and Amos have hope through faith in the Saviour. Knowing that we know God, staff address the issue of faith and we can be witnesses. Just now, in the run-up to Christmas, a member of staff told me that she is an atheist and the very word Christmas bothers her. Sometimes she challenges me to take a stand. We are happy to be here and pray that Jesus can come into this office to change hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Amos has been in Year 1 since September. There are only two religious teachers at the school. Incredibly, his teacher Irina has a relationship with God and sees her job as a calling. Irina always asks us to pray for the pupils who are ill or under a bad influence. Recently Tamara had a prayer fellowship with her during one such encounter. Irina is so glad that Amos is in her class. There is a different spirit in him, she says. As a whole family, we have been given an additional mission to be light and salt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
