What use is a talisman to me?

Last Saturday, the children from glow Ameisli and glow Kids romped around in the Seoner forest. Like Tom from the book "Not like robbers", some of the children were given a talisman to protect them from the evil hunters. However, they soon realised that this talisman was not worth much. Time and again, after completing various tasks such as solving riddles or saying a wooden branch, they were caught by the hunters and had to hand over their winnings. Like Tom in the book, they eventually realised that they would be better off if they relied on their friends and Jesus in their lives?
