Winter Camp 20/21

This year we will again spend the time over New Year together in the snow! The winter camp takes place in the huge snow sports area of Arosa-Lenzerheide for everyone aged 14 and over. You can expect 225 km of prepared pistes at up to 2,865 m.a.s.l. No matter whether you are a skier, snowboarder or "nothing of both", this camp will be an unforgettable experience for you!

The winter camp is a Christian snow sports camp and is run under J+S.

When?

Sunday, 27 December 2020 07:30 until Saturday, 02 January 2021 approx. 14:00.

The closing date for registration is Sunday, 13 December 2020.

Who?

To come along, you must be at least 14 years old and are automatically part of a Y+S group. From the age of 20, you are free to ride alone.

Where?

Lenzerheide is suitable for all snow sports enthusiasts from beginner to pro. In addition, Lenzerheide offers a very wide range of possibilities for carvers, freeriders, stylists, sledding kings, etc.

The camp house is called "Tgantieni Sot - House with a Heart" and can be reached directly from the piste by ski or snowboard.

Offers

You can choose from three different offers: Ski, snowboard and alternative programme. The ski and snowboard groups are led by a J+S instructor and in addition to a lot of fun, you will learn to better control your sports equipment during this week. The participants of the alternative programme spend the week sledging, having fun on the artificial ice rink, wellness and much more.

Despite COVID-19 pandemic?

We will do everything we can to hold a winter camp together despite the pandemic - it is very close to our hearts. At the same time, this means that the winter camp will look a bit different than in previous years. But we are confident that it will still be an unforgettable week.

We will have a protection concept that is based on the measures of the federal government, the canton, suggestions from various sports associations and the concept of the camp. You can find the current version in this blog - however, we will only finalise the protection concept shortly before the winter camp and send it to all participants.

As we cannot take the same number of people into the house as in previous years, we give priority to everyone of Y+S age (up to 20 years).

If the winter camp is not feasible due to changed measures by the authorities, there will be no costs for the registered persons.
