Winter Camp 2021/22

This year we will again spend the time over New Year together in the snow! The winter camp takes place in the huge snow sports area of Arosa-Lenzerheide for everyone aged 14 and over. You can expect 225 km of prepared pistes at up to 2,865 m.a.s.l. No matter whether you are a skier, snowboarder or "nothing of both", this camp will be an unforgettable experience for you!
The winter camp is a Christian snow sports camp and is run under J+S.
When?
Monday, 27 December 2021 07:30 until Sunday, 02 January 2022 approx. 14:00.
The closing date for registration is Sunday, 12 December 2021.
Who?
To come along, you must be at least 14 years old and are automatically part of a J+S sports group. From the age of 20, you are free to go on the slopes on your own.
Where?
Lenzerheide is suitable for all snow sports enthusiasts from beginner to pro. In addition, Lenzerheide offers a very wide range of possibilities for carvers, freeriders, stylists, sledding kings, etc.
The camp house is called "Tgantieni Sot - House with a Heart" and can be reached directly from the piste by ski or snowboard.
You can find out more about Lenzerheide in here.
Offers
You can choose from three different offers: Ski, snowboard and alternative programme. The ski and snowboard groups are led by a J+S instructor and, in addition to having a lot of fun, you will learn to better control your sports equipment during this week. There are three level groups for skiing and snowboarding:
BeginnersIf you have never skied or snowboarded before, or only occasionally, and would like to learn.
AdvancedYou have been riding for at least a week and you can ride independently. You are still riding at a moderate pace.
ExpertsYou control your equipment very well and can also ski steep slopes without any problems. This group travels at a rather fast pace.
The participants of the alternative programme spend the week sledging, having fun on the artificial ice rink, wellness and much more.
2nd attempt, despite COVID-19 pandemic?
After last year's postponement at short notice, we hope all the more this year that the camp can be held. We cannot yet say what the situation will be in December. We will do everything we can to hold a winter camp together despite the pandemic - it is very close to our hearts.
The camp will carried out with a certificate requirement become a camp participant. This means that you need a valid certificate at the start of the camp. If you need to take a test, it is advisable to make an appointment early. It is not yet possible to say whether further tests will be necessary during the course of the camp, as this depends on developments in the ski areas. News will be posted here on the blog on an ongoing basis.
Nevertheless, we will have a protection concept that is based on the measures of the Confederation and the concept of the camp. However, the final protection concept will only be completed shortly before the winter camp and will then be sent to all participants.
If the winter camp is not feasible due to changes in the measures taken by the authorities, the following costs will arise no costs for the registered persons.
We look forward to seeing you!
