Christmas parcels" campaign

Every year, tens of thousands of people from Switzerland give needy people in Eastern and South-Eastern Europe a Christmas parcel. For them, a parcel is a great gift that will be remembered for a long time. It touches the recipients deeply that someone thinks of them and has put together a Christmas parcel with valuable and useful items for them. Many families can hardly afford hygiene articles, notebooks or toys for their children because the money is only enough for the bare necessities.
The campaign sends a strong signal of solidarity with people in need. It is jointly supported by four relief organisations, which organise the collection, the transport to Eastern Europe and the distribution on site. All the organisations have their own branches or partner organisations in the target countries with which they have been working for years.
We from the seetal chile would like to take part in this action again this year. Everyone can take part, young and old. Pack all the products listed on the flyer, which will be available from the end of October, in a sturdy cardboard box (available in the centre of the seetal chile) and wrap them in strong wrapping paper. You will find online a good guide. Once the parcels are nicely wrapped, stick the appropriate label (adult or child) on the parcel and bring it to the seetal chile youth centre.
Thank you very much for taking part.
The collection point in the youth centre is open from 7 to 21 November 2021 on Tues 08:30 - 11:30 and Sun after church service.
