The long shadow of the past

Thursday, 7 April 2022 | 2:30 pm
For the next event of the Generation+ we could win Karl Albietz. He will take us into an exciting pastoral topic.
"The Long Shadow of the Past" takes us to the last hours of Moses (Deut. 34:1-7). The connection between Moses' "fall into sin" in Exodus 20:2-12 and his "fall" just a few kilometres from the land of Canaan is interesting. How can God react so adamantly to a small slip? We will explore the question of whether there may be sins that God does not forgive. And if he does, why is he so hard on Moses (his best friend!). What does this mean for us? What consequences can a wrongdoing on my part possibly have? And how do I save my life from a fiasco? My presentation will not end pessimistically, but with a real surprise that should make us happy.
You are cordially invited to this event with a snack. We would be happy to have you join us, and we would also be happy to pick you up for this event. Please call us if we can help you with this: Tel. 062 552 07 00
