Review of the 2026 holiday fun

From Tuesday to Friday, we were able to experience an unforgettable holiday together in the seetal chile. Under the motto "Turning old into new» this week was all about upcycling. Around 140 children took part with great enthusiasm and created a lively and creative atmosphere.

Each afternoon began with a joint plenary session. There was a lot of laughter, singing and excitement: the boys vs. girls challenges were always hotly contested, God was celebrated together during worship and the theatre provided exciting and funny moments every day.

Afterwards, the children met in their small groups, where fellowship, discussions and personal encounters took centre stage. Afterwards, the children were able to let off steam creatively in various workshops. In keeping with the theme, many new, original and beautiful works were created from old and used materials. It was impressive to see how much creativity there is in the children.

Of course, there was also plenty of fun to be had: The bouncy castle and the airtrack were an absolute highlight throughout the week and provided plenty of action and excitement.

The grand finale took place on Friday. Parents were also invited. Together we looked back on the week, enjoyed the final programme and brought the holiday fun to a cosy close with delicious burgers.

We are grateful for the many wonderful encounters, the great motivation of the employees and for a week full of joy, creativity and community.
