Community Weekend 2020

Under the theme "Blessing Hunters" we will travel to Bad Schussenried again this year and become blessing hunters who leave their mark of blessing in everyday life.

A real blessing hunter, that was Jacob - a patriarch from the Bible. He quite often went straight for the blessing without listening to God first. This brought him a lot of trouble, but God also reached the goal with him. We would like to get to know this Jacob better and therefore hunt for four days, from 21 to 24 May 2020, sometimes quiet, sometimes in action, in pursuit of this goal.

Where and who

The community weekend is for you as an individual or as a family and at any age. The house in Bad Schussenried (http://www.humboldt-jugendgaestehaus.de/bad_schussenried.html) consists of single and double rooms. The most comfortable rooms - all wheelchair accessible - are naturally allocated to the elderly. A family can easily occupy two rooms next to each other and, if necessary, put additional mattress(es) on the floor. Cots and highchairs must be brought along. For the toddlers we will set up a "Kinderhüeti" with lots of toys. We will also offer exciting activities for the older kids.

You can also look forward to an entertaining programme of sports, creative workshops, walks, city and other sightseeing tours, fun and games, drinking coffee and, hopefully 😉 swimming in the moor lake.

Arrival and departure

On Thursday 21 May between 11:00 and 12:00 we will "trickle in" (everyone with their private car) and then all meet for lunch together at 12:30. On Sunday, 24 May, after lunch, we will make our way home again.

The prices

Per adult person in a twin room: CHF 160.-*

Per adult person in a single room: CHF 190.-*

Children under 3 years: Free of charge, provided that they stay in their parents' room in a travel cot.

Children aged 3 to 6 years: CHF 105.-*

Children aged 7 to 15: CHF 140.-*

*with Full board and free use of all offers

Additional costs: Conscientious entrance fees for voluntary offers and additional drinks. The costs should not be an obstacle for anyone to participate. Please contact the seetal chile office if you are unable to pay.
