Help build the stage!

All the preparatory work is bearing fruit and we would like to have the stage redesigned this summer. Now many hands are needed to rebuild, set up, design, expand and realise. Would you like to be part of it?

Over the past few months, there has been a lot of thinking, drawing and evaluating about how our stage in the centre can be redesigned. Detailed information was then provided at the last community meeting and the final funds required for this were approved. In order to stimulate the imagination, we have created a visualisation (see cover picture), which will probably change somewhat with the actual implementation.

We would like to celebrate the first big event, the anniversary on 8 September, in the new stage dress. In order to gain experience, the stage should be ready around three weeks beforehand and we are therefore planning to carry out the work in July and August. We are very pleased to be able to realise this now and have divided the work into different teams. There are very different jobs to be done.

Stage
The stage is moved slightly forwards, widened at the back up to the side walls, stage steps are built near the side wall and the floor of the stage itself is reworked. A cable duct is installed on the rear wall of the stage and curtains are hung on the sides.

Mounting LED screen
A suspension or substructure must be built on the existing stage in order to place the ordered LED screen. For the delivery, we have committed ourselves to intensive co-operation to assemble and install the LED screen.

New drum cabin
The drums are placed on a small platform on the left-hand side and a new booth is built for them. The microphones and lighting also have to be rebuilt in this setting.

Decoration
With all these changes, new concepts, suspensions etc. can also be developed and built for the decoration.

Technical realisation LED screen
The LED screen and the LED bars must be technically controlled and software for this must be evaluated and configured. Concepts for the content displays are created and the whole thing is integrated into the existing system environment.

Cabling
All existing cabling for lighting, audio and video will be reorganised.

Lighting
The frames for the LED bars next to the LED screen and on the ceiling need to be designed, built and installed. The white light is rebuilt, the cables are better organised and the control software is reconfigured.

As you can see, a lot of creativity, craftsmanship, technical expertise, diligence and conceptual work is required.
