Give us a creative boost!

The community lives from the diversity, creativity and generosity of many people. Unique encounters and a cohesion emerge that inspires and brings us all one step further!
With our latest project, the implementation of a live stream, we are facing completely new challenges of various kinds (organisational, personnel, technical). But we see all the more the resulting added value: countless people get the opportunity to follow our services and thus come into contact with the salvation message of Jesus Christ.
How is a livestream created?
A project team has been working hard in recent weeks on the technical realisation of the livestream and there is still a lot to do. Our sporting goal is to be able to broadcast our service on 14 June 2020 live on the web for the first time.
In our centre we will install three cameras that will capture what is happening on stage from different perspectives. In the basement of the building, the cameras will be remotely controlled, image/audio signals mixed and then streamed to the internet. Afterwards, the sermon and any interviews will be available in our sermon archive on the website.
You can help: Get creative!
The topic of "livestream" is mistakenly a bit too technically loaded. The greater challenge is not that the technology works, but that we can broadcast a livestream every Sunday that is enjoyable to watch. Things like camera work, choosing the right colour settings and beautiful transitions are more questions of aesthetics - and therefore something for the creative eye. This definitely appeals to women, too! ?
Maybe you? Give us a creative boost! By helping us, you'll be putting the finishing touches on what happens on stage and gaining experience that will help you in other creative areas too.
What does cooperation look like in concrete terms?
In order for us to go live every week on Sunday, we need 2 people at a time to carry out their duties in the VCR (Video Control Room). We are currently in the process of building a team that will take on this task and spread the workload over many shoulders.
The following two task profiles are required for an assignment:
Camera work
You have a sense of aesthetics and determine how the images are recorded/processed.
- Remote control of the 3 cameras via joystick
- Selecting perspectives, cropping, zooming and aperture
- Tracking actors on stage
Production management
You are conscientious and have the entire production under control.
- Making colour adjustments (white balance of the cameras, contrasts etc.)
- Execution of the image editing (camera change and insertion of slides) as well as adjustment of the audio signals
- Activation and monitoring of the recording and the live stream
Are you coming along for the ride?
The project is new territory for all of us ? Together we can pool experiences and in turn gain new ones. Can you imagine being involved with one of the task profiles listed above? That would be great! Click on the button below to let us know.
