People wanted for the Christmas Choir

The leaves are changing colours and it is getting colder. That means Christmas is coming closer. And what fits better into the Christmas season than a service with polyphonic singing?
We would therefore like to organise the Christmas service on 25 December with a choir from our own ranks and cordially invite you to sing along. You don't need to have any special skills, the important thing is that you enjoy music and singing. Paul Walti and I have selected the songs and will provide material (sheet music and audio recordings) for independent practice. In December there will be two choir rehearsals and in the Christmas service on 25 December we will sing the practised songs together with the congregation.
It would be nice if we could include other instruments in addition to the piano. Wind and string instruments in particular would be a great fit for the planned Christmas classics.
Songs:
Mary did you know
Little Drummer Boy
Angels bring glad tidings (Gloria)
Joy to the World (Joy to the World)
Silent Night
Our Saviour is now here
Rehearsal dates:
Thu 16 December 2021, 7.30 pm
Wed 22 Dec 2021, 7.30 pm
Our choir may have a maximum of 30 participants so that we do not need a certificate for the rehearsals. Therefore, interested persons must register directly here. The registration deadline is 26 November. We will then send you the rehearsal documents by e-mail as soon as possible. When registering, please indicate which voice you would prefer to sing (soprano, alto, bass, tenor). We look forward to your participation!
