glow Mountain Weekend 2022

Soon it will be that time again. Our almost traditional mountain weekend will take place on 10-11 September 2022. Together as glow Youth and glow Next we will go on a two-day hike, experience fellowship among ourselves and maybe even "Bächli stauen" 😉

We will spend the night in a self-catering hut that we have to ourselves - and therefore also cook ourselves. The hut is located in the Verzasca Valley in Ticino, so this time we will travel by train.

We meet on Saturday morning at 06:45 directly in Lenzburg and will arrive there again on Sunday at 18:06. The walking time on both days is two to three hours, for the particularly ambitious there is an extra route.

The weekend costs CHF 50 for accommodation, meals and transport for all under 18s and CHF 65 for all over 18s. The amount is reduced by CHF 30 for people with an SBB GA travelcard (regardless of age).

Detailed information will be sent out the week before the weekend. However, the following equipment is required as a minimum:

• Good shoes (if possible with a high shaft)
• Backpack for 2 days (approx. 30-50 litre capacity)
• Rain and sun protection
• Outdoor or sports clothing for hiking
• Silk sleeping bag (for overnight stay in the hut)

If you don't have any of these things, you are welcome to contact me or Andi Hauser - many of them can be borrowed.

If the weather does not cooperate, we will try to find an alternative. This may mean that the event will be shortened to one day or not take place at all.

The deadline for registration is 04 September 2022. Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
