This year, the regional impulse evenings - together with our five neighbouring free churches - are focusing on the annual motto and looking to the future. The next evening will take place on 11 March at 19:30 in the Lenzokirche Lenzburg with Dr Stefan Wenger.

God says: «Behold, I make all things new!» The 2026 lot from Revelation 21:5 invites us to think about the new heaven and the new earth. But what does that actually mean? Many of us assume that we will go «to heaven» after death and spend eternity there. But how does this fit in with the biblical vision of a renewed creation? And what does this mean for our bodies, our lives and our hope?

On our themed evening, we want to explore precisely these questions. We will bring more clarity to eschatology - the doctrine of the last things - and show why we as Christians have every reason to hope. Because what God promises in the end changes how we live, believe and act today.

Dr theol. Stefan Wenger, husband and father, pastor and member of the leadership of the Landeskirchliche Gemeinschaft yahoo, Lecturer in Old and New Testament at various training centres, freelance theologian.

A warm invitation: Let yourself be inspired, encouraged and reorientated!
