Between hope and challenge
Sunday, 23 August 2026 | 7.00 pm
Some people still remember him well: before M. v. S. set off for northern Iraq four years ago, he was in charge of children’s services at seetal chile. Today, he lives and works amongst the Kurds and wants to introduce people to the hope found in Jesus Christ.
Whilst on leave in his home country, M. v. S. will be joining us for the evening service. In a personal conversation, he will talk about his daily life in northern Iraq, moving encounters, the challenges of a different culture, and how God opens doors and transforms people. An evening that broadens our horizons and shows how God is still at work around the world today. At the same time, it is a wonderful opportunity to catch up with a former seetal chile staff member and hear first-hand what is close to his heart.
Before the service, you can buy a delicious evening meal in our bistro and enjoy it in good company. For organisational reasons, we’d be grateful if you could place your order at the counter between 6.00 pm and 6.30 pm. After the service, the bistro will remain open for drinks.
We are looking forward to an inspiring event and warmly invite you to attend.
