Israel and the Church: One Origin – One Future

This year, the regional inspiration evenings – organised in collaboration with our five neighbouring free churches – are centred around the annual theme and focus on things to come. The next evening will take place on 10 September at 7.30 pm at seetal chile with Jens Kaldewey.

The national, political Israel and the universal Church of Christ are like two parallel lines that appear to run separately and never intersect. The gap, the rift, remains. Yet what is impossible in human geometry is possible with God and has long since been decreed. He will cause the lines to converge – lines which, incidentally, also have a common origin in Him, having begun at a single point. One origin, one future. That is what this evening with Jens Kaldewey is all about.

Jens Kaldewey (jenskaldewey.ch), born in 1950, a theologian and grandfather of ten grandchildren, is still active as a speaker, Bible teacher and podcaster (his programmes can be heard on Bibletunes.de – Die Bibel im Ohr and ERFplus)
