How do we understand the Bible? Many Christians encounter many critical questions about the interpretation of the Bible through YouTube, podcasts and in their environment. These questions can lead to uncertainties and new interpretations of biblical statements. On the impulse evening on 13 November, our guest Roland Hardmeier will describe how a basic trust in the Bible is still possible today. The aim is not to avoid critical questions, but to find a good "middle way" that leads neither to the deconstruction of faith nor to uncritical fundamentalism. The evening is intended to help Christians rediscover the joy of the wisdom of the Bible and understand how the Bible provides a strong foundation for our faith.

Dr Roland Hardmeier (Riedikon/Switzerland) is a lecturer at various Bible schools (IGW, ISTL), author, speaker and consultant.

The impulse evening is organised by Fabrik Chile, Lenzchile, Viva Kirche Gränichen, FMG Hunzenschwil, Lenzokirche and seetal chile and takes place at Lenzstrasse 1 in 5734 Reinach.
