That was the glow mountain weekend 2020

We met on Saturday, 22 August 2020 at 07:00 at seetal chile for a two-day adventure. With around 30 people, we filled the waiting vehicles and drove - partly tired, partly expectant - towards the Grimsel Pass.

As soon as we arrived, we realised that it was going to be wet. When we started walking, it was raining continuously. In the course of the day, the rain decreased until it disappeared completely. In different groups we climbed up to the Gruebenhütte.

On the way, we passed some small rivers and scree fields and looked past a glacier. The ascent was very strenuous in some places and so we looked forward all the more to the well-deserved breaks.

Despite the weather and stony paths, there was a lot of fun - we really had a lot of fun! The evening in the warm self-catering hut was also a lot of fun. We ended the day with pasta, warm milk, games and a devotion.

After spending the night - in the hut and in the tent - we started the descent. The crowning finale was a joint barbecue near the pass road at a secluded spot.

We are very grateful for the glow mountain weekend together and look forward to the adventures to come!

A big thank you also goes to Andreas Hauser for the planning, Michelle and Timon Wehmann for the cooking, Michael Ramseier for the photos and everyone who carried common goods to the hut.
