Let's glow!
When asked if I had made a good start in my new new job here at seetal chile, I was always able to answer with a joyful with a "Yes, it feels like I've always been part of the staff team". of the staff team". It's true, I felt at home here from the very from the first moment and not only since seetal chile became my new place of place of work. But why is that? What makes seetal chile such a special place for me? such a special place for me, where I could feel "at home" so quickly? I have been asking myself these questions again and again over the last few weeks.
An important factor for this feeling for me is certainly the people who are part of this congregation. Before I came to faith about three years ago, I had a very skewed image of Christians. image of Christians. For me, they were people who were strangely pious and had no fun in life. have any fun in life. When I attended a church service here in the seetal chile, I realised that my image was completely wrong. I felt I felt at ease from the first moment and experienced completely normal people, who with no false "frömmele". The more insight I now get into into seetal chile, the more great people I get to know. People who make such a growing church possible. I am impressed how many people invest themselves with a lot of heart in the seetal chile and thus in Jesus. in Jesus. I love to work and be "at home" in a place where people have a common vision. where people have a common vision and if this "vision" is our Lord, perfect. Lord, perfect.
For the seetal chile I wish that we make Jesus the centre of our lives, our work and our community every day. our work and our community. Let us "glow" and be a light in the dark for others. a light in the darkness.
"For just as God once commanded: 'Let light break forth from darkness!', his light has also illuminated our hearts. Through us all people shall now know God's glory, which Jesus Christ radiates"(2 Corinthians 4:6).
