Dear friends of the seetal chile
by Matthias Altwegg
Every Christian, every church has the task of making the good news of Jesus Christ known to the people around them. As seetal chile, we have developed a friendly welcoming culture in recent years and have endeavoured to organise church services that are easy to attend, even without prior biblical knowledge.
Now we want to go one better. We believe that we have been gifted with many talents in the form of our livestream system. We want to use these consciously and purposefully so that they can multiply (Matthew 25:14ff). This talent is fitting for a world that is becoming increasingly digital. We can complain about this development, but we don't want to do that, we want to use it for the best thing in the world. I am convinced that the livestream of a church service will be received in homes whose residents would never step over the threshold of a church. There is a lot of potential in this, which we want to utilise in a targeted manner.
Livestream 500(0) is a faith goal. We are praying that at least 500 devices will be connected in homes in our region on Sunday mornings between 10:00 and 11:15.
To draw attention to our services, we put up posters and even run a bus advert. But the most important "advertising media" are us. To help us invite people, there are business cards with three blank spaces for the names of people who are important to us. The idea is that we pray for the people in an initial phase so that the Spirit of God can prepare them. We have also provided giveaways: Toothpaste and mustard tubes with funny and informative stickers. We can give these as gifts to our friends who have been prepared in prayer and they will be invited to our livestream.
Our theme for the year is: "Follow you Follow me!" At the feeding of the 5000 people, Jesus demanded: "Give her to feed them!" We are meant. It takes you and me to connect people with Jesus. We need to take a step out of our safety and comfort zone and then we will experience how God works miracles. I look forward to hearing testimonies from people who have come to know Jesus personally via the livestream!
Conversion of youth centre
from Daniel Rüegger
How quickly time flies when you are working towards a goal! Just a few months after we were able to inform the community meeting about the upcoming work, we can look forward with gratitude to the successful completion: The band practice room, the multimedia office and the larger room for the children's nursery have already been handed over. The additional KIGO group room and the lounge and cooking facilities in the youth centre will also be ready in the next few days. We would like to thank the many helpers, supporters and donors from the bottom of our hearts. This would not have been possible without you. Thanks to the generous donations, we were even able to cover the additional costs for the electrician. Thank you very much.
Our finances
by Christoph Leimgruber

We are very pleased that after seven months, our income is slightly above budget. Many thanks to everyone who regularly helps to keep our finances on track.
The situation regarding the financing of the renovation of the youth centre is even more pleasing. The separate collection has now raised CHF 16,057.14. We are overwhelmed that the renovation is now fully covered. A thousand thanks!
Bühler family, Switzerland
from the Bühler family

We have arrived in Switzerland, not only physically but also emotionally. We feel comfortable and increasingly at home in the beautiful rented flat in the FEG Bubikon. The pleasant temperatures and the lush green surroundings are a joy to our souls. We have been working regularly for three months, Regina for 40% in the secretariat at the Salvation Army Zurich North and Markus with 100% at MEOS Interkulturell. We like the work, we learn a lot of new things, but at the same time we can also contribute some of our experience. Our many years of involvement with the WEC have now come to an end, and we said goodbye in June.
Together with around 200 Christians with a migration background from 28 different nations, we were able to take part in a Christian conference in Lenk at the beginning of August. Just afterwards, we attended a trauma course. In the lessons, we learnt many practical tools to better support migrants with a traumatic past. Training events as part of CM - Christians meet Muslims, an area of MEOS' work - as well as contacts with various migrants will keep us busy in the autumn. Routine office work is also part of our daily routine.
We are receiving mixed news from Turkey. More believers have moved away from the city. They hope for a better future in larger cities in the west of the country and will also be active in Christian communities there.
The reports on the construction of an aid and church building in our city are encouraging. Two of the planned three storeys have already been completed.
The planning and construction of the building is being organised by a church in a neighbouring province. We pray that the necessary finances will be raised to complete the building and that it will be filled with local believers and become a blessing for the local church.
We sincerely thank you for your interest in our progress and for all your prayers.
Information in a nutshell
Family discount in the bistro: We offer lunch in our bistro (almost) every Sunday. It is important to us that nobody has to miss out for financial reasons. That's why we offer one free pizza for every four pizzas.
Transport service southThis is a service for people who need a taxi service to church from the villages of Meisterschwanden, Seengen and Boniswil. The idea is that people who would like to use this service should contact the seetal chile office by Thursday. From here, we will write to the potential drivers who are organised in a pool group.
Key management: There are well over a hundred keys in circulation among the employees of seetal chile. These are linked to a service. It often happens that keys are still in the care of people who have resigned their service. If you are still holding a key that you no longer need, please return it. Thank you very much!
LED wallOur new LED wall is a sensitive object and should not be touched. We therefore ask you to take great care when cleaning it. What has always been the case also applies: the stage is not a place for children. Thank you very much for your understanding!
glow Next: The glow Next now takes place on Sunday evenings. You can find the next dates on our website. The glow Next is for all young adults aged 18 and over who want to get to know God and each other better in good fellowship.

Getting to know each other
The get-to-know-you morning is an event that should fulfil two tasks: For people who are still undecided, this should provide a basis for a good decision and for people who have already decided in favour of seetal chile, the event should help them to find their way into our church better. In order for this to happen, we as the church leadership and staff team...

A lifetime at his side - over highs, through valleys, in the midst of everyday life. He has been walking his path with Jesus Christ for almost sixty years: as a family man, entrepreneur and believer.
